Description
Mari is known by most people online as Miracila "Mira" Hersom, a play on her real name. She is a Hikikomori girl whom various companies have contracted as a stellar mapper and surveyor. She currently works for Trinity in this capacity. She suffers from a mixture of genetic and autoimmune disorders, which causes her body to be highly vulnerable to any viral or bacterial infection. Such things would cause her immune system to go into overdrive to the point where it would kill her. As a result, she lived in a small room within a module designed to attach to small cargo vessels for most of her life and had implants installed to connect with computers. These allow her to interface with technologies, experience the world through virtual reality, and control her surroundings through android avatars and mechs. She is a manga and visual novel illustrator, which allows her to pay for her lifestyle outside of what is provided to her by her employer due to the extreme costs involved in her medical care and expenses to live the way she lives. She wants to find friends and happiness. As she has spent time with the crew following them, helping her escape her physical and mental cage, she grew as a person and joined the command team; she is now less shy; she believes less negatively about her self-worth, causing her to be much less shy than before.
