General Overview Ayano is a Yuka Layton from another timeline whom never encountered the events her other self did due to the interference of Jim Olend following her first few months with RINZ.. She is a bit more carefree than the other version of herself from this timeline and is more of Yuka's twin at this point minus the fact that Yuka has changed her hair back to being brown most of the time.
Strengths & Weaknesses Ayano is a skilled mech pilot and field soldier. She has a BS in psychology and completed AMC training making her basically a marine pilot. Ayano; like her counterpart is highly self-loathing and gets depressed easily. She has not seen the level of death Yuka has and as such this could be seen as a weakness and a strength.
Ambitions Ayano wants to find friends; learn to influence people and take this "gift" as a second chance to the better and avoid the pitfalls Yuka had.
Hobbies & Interests She is similar to Remi in her like of anime, video games, writing and computers. Though being exposed to VR tech by Aidan and Remi she enjoys this as well. She likes piloting especially due to her ability to do it more often as opposed to where Yuka took a more field command role.
Personal History Please see Yuka Layton's history up to the point where Jim sent Yuka to the "garbage planet." Upon arrival in an alternate dimension through Jim's interference Ayano encountered "Encabulators" which destroyed her RINZ unit. She then met Dan and the two along with is car Vanilla escaped the Encabulators begining their travel throughout this strange world to figure out where exactly they were. The two became close and would soon after encounter Jim whom would further interfere with things by turning Vanilla; Dan's sentient car AI into a person. Follow Jim's actions and that of repeated toying with other galactic events Mith and other Guardian stripped Jim of his powers and sent Dan, Ayano and Vanilla to Universe 001. Ayano would begin to question her place in life given that there are now two Yuka Layton's. It was at this point that Aidan and she began to understand where she was coming from and he helped her to take on a new identity of her own. She would take on the role of the Lavie's Chief Mech Pilot while Kyoko was training new pilots for Trinity. Upon Kyoko's return to the Lavie and reassignment of Haruka Sumimori Trinity Command reassigned Ayano to lead a new clandestine team to handle behind the scenes missions called the Elite Missions Unit.
